Update

I haven't done much lately so as it's poring with rain I thought I'd do some updating. The forecast here is for torrential rain and high winds. Well we have had the wind ( a panel has been blown off the front of the house )

and the rain is about to happen. Further north in Hamilton they are getting it now.I hope we don't suffer too badly ( refer earlier post "Heavy Rain at Home")

I have been out and lifted the flood gates ( designed to stop stock from going from paddock to paddock through the river ) Fed the horses while I can still get over the river,and put an old sheet of iron over the hole in the wall where the panel had blown off so now I have little to do other than wait.

Necessary to fed the horses at the moment as we suffered a bad drought over summer/Autumn and our grass is very low. Redman (earlier post ) now 29 years old lost weight very badly and has to be fed lots of goodies to try to help him survive the winter and as it is hard to feed him and not the others they all get it.

Tahi is as fat as a pudding.

My earlier post about Holly the Donkey. Holly's owners sold their property recently and as soon as the dead was signed Holly passed away. Almost like she was saying I'm not moving from here.

Snoop. In the pic about Snoop ( My hunterway ) I mention another dog Pat. Well she passed away a couple of months back. Not unexpected as she was getting old also.

And finally my son Tim who introduced me to blogging. I recently went down to wellington to attend his graduation at Victoria University. Tim Graduated with a Masters in Library and Information Technology.

Well Done. Was great to see him and enjoy a great meal afterwards.
